American Diplomacy
More Diplomacy, Less Ammunitions. General Mattis said it best to Congress during the NSA Council Meeting "if you don't fund the state department fully, then I'need to buy more ammunition ultimately". Simply put we're better off dealing with world problems in the diplomatic arena. At a time when our state department is completely deplete, we should head the advice of General Mattis and push for more diplomacy. The General went on to say, "So I think it’s a cost-benefit ratio. The more that we put into the State Department’s diplomacy, hopefully the less we have to put into a military budget as we deal with the outcome of an apparent American withdrawal from the international scene."
